Secret it out

QuoteThere was no hdd failure that caused the loss of data from the last few months on crossfire.nu. The database was wiped clean due to the illegal wolfenstein leak which spread across this website. It was the guys over at Wolfenstein who contacted the authorities who took remedial action. Crossfire is so embarrassed about this that they tell everybody it was just a hdd failure and they forgot to backup data although they have been doing so for 5+ years? :D. You guys on crossfire are so gullible, your own community is keeping secrets from you!

Why load it to March?
Because ever since March everyone has been posting "WOLF IS SHIT" comments.

Just FYI for anyone that hasn't noticed, the site'll be down for an indeterminate time (spam Fusen) whilst things are fixed. Likely be a fair chunk of content missing (pretty much everything pre-dating Wolfenstein).

Though the slight positive is that this might motivate people into making some updates, so if you've any bright ideas send then Stu's / Fusen's way.

Keep in #crossfire or on the facebook page for updates.

Regards

OMG IT'S TRUE

O WAIT WHAT?

can't be true! since linking to illigal content is legal!
And if it's true crossfire should have got a nice letter in which ZeniMax has to ask to remove the content before ZeniMax is able to do anything else.

Let's all hope chosen bans you before he loses his admin status.
hell yeah.. but it wont give us data back, so care :<
