Well, he played in the 90 and outside Belgium/Netherlands not many people know him, but i never saw many guys kicking a ball like he did.

When he was transfered to Aston Villa, made a lovely goal vs Chelsea and broke his leg after. End of his career :)

Much better? It's all relative ofcourse... anyway, didn't saw many youtube movies of players making that much beautifull goals :)

Whenever I watched a free-kick of Juninho or Van Hooijdonck there was like a 50% chance that it was a goal and I watched lot's of matches of those players. Never had that feeling with any other players.

To be fair, I haven't seen Nilis playing that much, maybe he was at his best before my time so I maye missed the best part.
