The only reason you could justify starting Heskey is if we're playing an equally counter attacking team that like to sit back & play deep, so we've less space to play in & need someone that can compete (without restricting Rooney to that role) - problem being that's generally the better teams, so do we restrict ourselves against the lesser teams to familiarise? Probably not...

Upson / Terry looked dodgy as hell tonight - how the commentators can blame Johnson for their goal be beyond me. Throughout the ninety minutes any half decent attacker will beat the full back at least once - it was the static central pairing that didn't react once it got in the box, with their attacker slipping the man on the initial cross that cost us, and Upson being slow to react to the second save.

England are set up to be an excellent attacking team, let's not lose our bottle and cry about conceding once - aim of the game should be to out score the opposition, play to our strengths. Current form we'd give Brazil / Spain a run for their money going forward.
