Rite well after only recently receiving my gfx card back from the repairers I've turned my computer on today ... clicked on ag0ns journal and watched the heroes thingy then my computer just went dead. No response from the power button, the motherboard fan and all peripherals.. just nothing.
My question is... if a PSU dies.. does it still supply power to like external harddrives.. (cuz my maxtor 80gb is still lit up when i plug in my power cord. Otherwise it could be something much bigger like the motherboard rite?
My incling is that it's the PSU because it was piping hot on the top back of my computer (where the PSU is) but i'm not sure because as i said it still lights up the harddrive and the LAN cable light.
help yeah i'll check dis l8r cuz diz my gf's computer n now she thinks ima rob it :P

Is the light on your motherboard on?
Unplug and plug (clean also) all cables. try checking if the button isn't fuckedup. Test your psu at some other pc if possible.
