- Anzahl der Spieler im Bereich Premium / Abo-Systeme
- Konsole der Spieler
- PC Hardware der Spieler

- demografische Daten der Spieler
- wie oft wird Free TV geschaut

it is not Wire, it is Aequitas the ESL anti cheat programme for some games.. small but important mistake by hannes

ESL Wire logs your PC Specs or Hardware-hash, just like pansemuckls bots, good idea though.

i dont care about hw stuff, but they make shots from your desktop, they save your config, they save the urls you visited, they log what you send / receive, they log how long you play, they log what you play.

putting a cam in my back would be less effort and with the same outcome

ye it's exactly what netCoders bots have, it's illegal but if you accept "6. You hereby agree with the collection, use and storage of data as described above." i guess it all becomes legal

If you complain about privacy then please don't complain about cheaters or any other kind of abusers because you need a way to catch them using "unfair" advantages.

More details about a player means better chance to catch unfair players.
All data are treated trustworthy anyway so there is no need to worry.

For the purpose of monitoring compliance with the ESL rules it is necessary that the following data are collected from your computer through the “ESL Aequitas” component of the "ESL Wire" software and transmitted to the servers of Turtle

You have to start Aequitas manually (or you can tell Wire to do it for you) for games/only some of the esl matches which have to be played with Aequitas (CS, CSS,.. not ET!) And they are logging it only for the time when you play the match and there is no difference to similar anti-cheat programms. (email, adress, age and so on are just copied from what you have added to your esl account.. and i think it has to be listed there cause turtle/esl is located in "we have for everything a long and complicated law Germany")

yes, because Aequitas is included in Wire. and the data are collected not by Wire (as your topic says) but by Aequitas. it is just the same like the software licence agreement of the stand alone version of Aequitas.

first off, nothing states that Aequitas collects the data, but wire.

2nd, it does not make this program less big brother...
