Black screen on startup :(

Hey folks.
This is really bugging me. I load up my PC, all that happens is the windows loads for about 10 seconds, then the screen goes completely black....I didnt make any really changes.
If it makes a differance, I have a 32HDMI TV hooked up..My main CRT monitor says "No signal found" but that never effected anything in the past, usually when i get logged in the CRT would load up anyway. Im using vista and the only thing I did was turn my PC off b y holding down the power button.
Ive tried google but there is no simple solution, any help Id be greatful!

last time when my screen went black my motherboard had died :D
find some paint and make your screen pink
last time my screen went black the wire wasnt plugged in
I've had same problems but re-plugging monitor's wire to pc has always helped
just had that thing too: pwr btn 4 secs and then just didn't boot up. solution was that i unplugged my mp3 player : DDDDDDDDDDDD
maybe the refresh rate is too high, try safemode or smth..
Wow, could be...I changed it about 3 days ago...
Does anyone know If I can access safe mode / boot menu from the windows loading thing?
press F8, dunno if it works for Vista too...

just unplug wire from TV.. startmenu is usually DEL or F8 or F9.. it should read somewhere while loading bios.
Dont think its my screen. Sometimes, when I load up, I get this error page - Where it staes it is trying to rectify the problem, then, it reboots itself and goes back to black screen.
but if you have TV as secondary screen.. unplug that wire.
