it's not spyware, it's the injection method used in it being cosnidered by most antispyware software as threat.

vista_mouse_fix.reg.txt ?

remove the .txt so it becomes a .reg and doubleclick it.

its just a minor registery fix.
I haven't got vista anymore. but i never had any negative accel problems.

Accelfix removes the accel itself, mousefix.reg removes only the symptoms (and not even completely)
