good driver for old nvidia?

My current system is Win 7 with geforce 7600gt.
What driver version is best performance wise?

latest drivers seem to lag a lot ...

a flashing line about 5 cm tall which sweeps across the screen from bottom to top.
the line reveals everything behind walls

changing com_maxfps affects how quick flashes are

that was the latest omega 64 vista driver

now im using latest omega driver for XP but it works on my win7 and flashes are gone.

omegadrivers is an alternative for both ati/nvidia (though they have better support for nvidia)
if you have problem with ati driver i recommend u to use some older versions of ccc and the actual version of your display driver
