New PC casing!

I'm thinking of buying a new PC case, since my old one (a strange 'Superflower' case) is way too noisy and shines like a freakin' disco.
I've had two cases in mind:
The new Corsair - http://www.pcper.com/article.php?aid=784
The new FT02 (Fortress) of Silverstone
The first one is a supertower, lots of room and easy use.
The second one is a special case, much like the RV02 (Raven). The motherboard is turned 90 degrees, so that the I/O board (where you plug in your shit) is actually on the top of the case.

just dont waste ur money like a robot
That's a lot to ask for, and the FT02 does a pretty good job.
Firstly, the cooling system used in the FT02 is very smart, as hot air moves from the bottom to the top, so why not put 3 180mm fans on the bottom, and turn the mobo so that the graphics card isn't blocking all the airflow anymore :)
Those 180mm fans are supersilent, cause the bigger the fan, the slower it has to turn to produce the same amount of air.
So it's cool, AND silent :)
It is a bit costly though, will be around 250€ when it comes out. Was that what you meant with "waste ur money like a robot"?
yes the airflow is smart, and great, but even my case, which costs almost 20e, does a fine job in keeping my components cool. these kind of cases are mostly for extreme extreme testers and hardcore hardware fans, who wants to get the best out of their components, such as extreme overclocking...
are you one of them?
it's like buying sli gtx 295 to play fifa :D
If I'm going to buy a new case, it better be a good one, with decent cooling and on top of it all, superb noise reduction.
Nothing is more annoying than watching 1080p on your tv while a pc is rattling and making the silent scenes unbearable.
i really do advice u from experience you _dont_ need it, but if you _want_ it it's something else
enjoy it if u buy it
just ordered it
nice choice!
yea I needed it , love the cable spots , nice in order
waiting 7 days makes it fail :( anyway let's wait xD
thanks again for posting :D
have a nice day
? :D
Myself i got Coolermaster Stacker, which im modding http://www.highflow.nl/forum/f34/edwins-stacker-2932/
But the case you linked (with the blood) looks sick!
And the coolermaster ATCS 840 is a great case. And Malik is really good modder as you can see. Gallery from Malik http://picasaweb.google.pl/plonka.lukasz/Project840Final#
My stacker is allready pretty old 4 years or something. But still one of the best cases around. But i wanted something else so i started modding it a bit.
case i bought in 2005. it was pretty expensive back than dont know how much anymore
Fans i bougt a year ago, where like 4 euros a piece.
It's awesome. Almost no noise at all ;)
If I put the Antec coolers at low speed + I put CPU cooler @ low speed (fancontroller), I really hear nothing at all.
Guess it is time for your brother to buy better fans ;)
Thx for info!

good size, air flow, toolless, other!
the only bad point i can think of is that disk drive bay covers may not nest totally with the button of a drive but its not a big problem
Are you sure 600w is enough?
