I need your help, fellow crossfire users!
Before going any further, i got to say that im not very familiar around the pc. What i mean is, that i can handle a PC, but i don't know f*** all about stuff like: motherboards,drivers...etc.(all the fancy stuff :D)
So here's the deal. My pc had been acting up and i thought i'd format it. Didn't take me long to get everything off my PC and i began the format. After completing the format, i went on to put everything back on my PC, but for my surprise i found my PC ain't connecting to the internet and even if i'd want to connect to the internet, i couldn't locate any connections.(Just for the record, im not that strong in formatting PC's. Altho i've formatted once before and it worked like a charm, all i had to do last time, was to plug in the network cable and it found the net by itself) So i google'd and looked around on the internet, asked a couple of friends who are somewhat smarter than me at PCs but still nothing. I was told to download my motherboard drivers.
Now this is where it gets tricky. As i stated above im not too strong about the techincal parts, i went on and downloaded Everest(to check all the techincal data about my PC). According to Everest my motherboard is ASUS Berkeley. Knowing this information i started looking for the drivers(well there's actually links on everest forwarding to the driver stuff but they all didn't work/lead to the right place anymore). After spending an hour or two i realised its not that easy.Since i couldn't find anything on the net with Berkeley, i took off one side of my PC to check my motherboard serial(IPIBL-LA) This is what i found out( im not 100% sure if this is the correct info): HP had bought the ASUS Berkeley motherboard and due to that, my driver isn't listed on the ASUS.com site anymore. And HP site didn't really help me either. So i spent another hour looking around in random forums to find atleast something that'd help me. So far i haven't made any progress.
Long story short - im having trouble finding the correct driver(s), yet im not sure what im doing is even correct. Unfortunately i've got nothing to give as a reward(besides a good-hearted thank you), im hoping someone can help me, or atleast lead me to the right way.

thats just a solution if you really cant find the drivers for ur motherboard
but you should also make a picture of the entier motherboard information in ur everest page
e: Wlan (WiFi): ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software8/COL19027/pv-49313-1/sp34976.exe Tried already that?
and this might be handy : http://www.asusdriverscenter.com/index.php?id=asd104&gclid=CKn28JrRjJ0CFcQSzAodfAjM2A
It should detect your motherboard and dl drivers etc dunno if it works but i hope it does
and im running 32bit vista
thanks for the tips, will surely try when i get home. :)
well.. then I recommend you to search for any CDs that came with your computer when you bought it, I'm sure some of them has motherboard drivers..
You should be able to open it with Windows + Pause.
but gimme another one in your next one np! :D
I know Creative have this feature (Creative AutoUpdater I think) so could try that.
