type in console cvar_restart and then vid_restart , if the screen is the same ( black ) download newest graph drivers or latest working properly. sry for engrish ! :]

r_gamma 1.7 r_ignorehwgamma ( check this if 1 set 0 ) , r_intensity 1.5 , r_mapOverBrightBits 2 should change this black screen
