BBC's podcast
Hi there.
I am currently listening to the BBC's podcast news radio of 25 September 2009. I need to write everything down (the first 5 minutes) for school.
I prepared this, but I couldn't find everything they said. Sometimes it is really difficult to understand for a non-native speaker.
Can someone (I prefer a British person) help me by this task? If so, send me a PM, please. It will take only 5 minutes of your spare time and you would do me a great favour!
Thanks in advance.
Sam

Welcome to news podcast recorded at 16 hours BST on Friday 25 September. I’m Audrey Brown with a selection of highlights from across the BBC’s radio news networks. ² After it reveals it has a second uranium enrichment plant. “The size and configuration of this facility is inconsistent with a peaceful programme. There are fresh doubts about the government’s plans to keep DNA profiles of innocent people for six or twelve years. “We might as well stick your finger in the air and think of a number, their policy should be based on proper analyses and evidence.” “Also who was the mole who leaked the story about MP’s expenses? The Daily Telegraph reveals all. And with new figures suggesting almost 1 in 10 prisoners is a veteran of the Arm Forces. One soldier describes his journey from battlefield to sell.” “When I’ve got discharged from the Army in Colchester a man gave me a little wallets with .., combat stress .. and that was basically it.”
The leaders of the United States, France and Britain have .. criticized Iran hours after .. Iran have revealed it’s building a second uranium enrichment facility. Iran said the plant was not yet operational and was intended only to produce electricity. But president Obama accused Iran building a secret new plant for several years. “This is not the first time that Iran has concealed information about its nuclear programme. Iran has a right to peaceful nuclear power that meets the energy needs of its people. But the size and configuration of this facility is inconsistent with a peaceful programme. Iran is breaking rules that all nations must follow. Endangering the global non-proliferation regime, denying its own people access the opportunity they deserve and threatening the stability and security of the region in the world.
Oh and Bennett Jones asked how their correspondent John Line, currently in London, for his assessment of what president Obama said. “Really tough words there. Basically Iran has got not enough explainments to do, expected here from president Ahmadjinedad later on the day and the main arguments been presented by Iran in the past have been, this is a peaceful programme but also an open programme. Everything has been above board. There are questions Iran will argue but on historical ones. Well now, it seems like Iran is being called red-handed or at least been called with something very difficult to explain and western leaders president Obama and we also heard from mister Brand, Gordon Brand, and president Sarkozy of France taking full advantage of that .. opportunity and pressing their advantage home in these speeches made the ..
And um imagine international lawyers could be the people to consult on this, but if the plant wasn’t operational, maybe there is no obligation to reveal as mean, politically is one thing, but legally another.
I’m sure that will be the gist of Iran’s argument in the future, but the simple question really is this: Well, if it’s peaceful plant why not remove all the suspicion one up be above board, why build it in facility .. one apparently that was used as a .. .. and why hide it away and seek for facility when you got nothing to hide?
Can you tell us about the, there is a time .. and why it’s come out because there are reports in the US press I’ve seen saying the United States actually has known about this for a long time.
Well this is a (hehe) this is like something out of a John Carry novel actually I think. Basically it appears that the western intelligence had already got wind of this facility and was tracking it, in this little report we have anyway. Iran then got wind to the fact that the west, got wind to it, so then Iran got busted the western intelligence and so that’s why Iran then decided to announce .. the west was about to publicize anyway.
John Line.
President Obama and other world leaders are in Pittsburgh for the G20 summit. And it appears that their .. developing nations a greater role on the global economic stage. Countries such as China are expected to be given more votes in the international menagerie fund, while the White House has said that the G20 itself whose members include developing nations will become the world’s main economic forum superseding the G8 .. in order industrial nations. Here is our business reporter, Marc Gregory.
The decision to make the G20 the main international forum for economic policy discussions will be seen as an important symbolic moment. Another sign of the increasing cloud of emerging economies like China and India. Many will see it as simple common sense it’s no longer possible to make sensible decisions on matters of global concern without including these new powers. But expanding the role for the G20 is not only about giving China and India their required forum place at the top table.

The whole discussion part in the middle is from 2 morons -
"And um imagine international lawyers could be the people to consult on this, but if the plant wasn’t operational, maybe there is no obligation to reveal ,as I mean, politically it may be one thing, but legally another.
"
The guy was clearly reading questions on a subject he has not read up on and this is just blah blah. I had to listen 3 times to even get what he was talking about!
