trieste vs amstersdam

in april my class can drive somwhere for 3 days.. besides some german and switzer stuff there is trieste and amsterdam.. anyone has been in trieste yet? is it nice there, going out etc? Guess no swimming in april :(

i think amsterdam would be better.. but italy is always great :)

there are a few kadinskys and at least one got a caffe right across the street.
but there is an "awesome" place at the sotuh of the main isleland at the beginning of utrechtstraat called "smokey".
just looks and feels like a bar

Pointless going to Amsterdam if you're with your class. I mean, how are you supposed to smoke shed loads of weed and bang hookers if you're under supervision??

Amsterdam isnt it too obvious ? Would prefer Maastricht or Arnheim. Much cheaper and also lot of fun , nice culture etc and weed as well :P
