Does anybody know how to remove the shadows under an icon on the desktop?

Talking about the black thing under the font:

its that option where you can choose "best apperiance or best performance"

Right click in my computer go to properties, advanced and then disable shadows under menu.

your background is in BMP, save it as JPG and ... PROFIT
