It has a mistake. Finland isn't the first country to declare broadband Internet access a legal right, that was Swiss!

And is it a crime to prohibit someone from accessing broadband or can you ban certain persons from broadband?

i already have 100 mbit!! so does everybody else in my region (for a very reasonable prize) gonna be updated to double speed next year aswell :)

yeah Finland might be one of the most-wired countries in the world but the overall connection price/speed ratio is utter shite. If you're a bit further from a big city you have to pay ridiculous prices for low connections, e.g. 10mb = 58e/month just 20kms from Oulu. ...Whereas in Sweden you get a 100mb connection for like 20e.

If what they plan works out, it'd be great though. You can't even call a connection slower than 10mb a broadband nowadays.

i hope people would start boicoting yle, we don't need that shit, only thing i watch from tv1/2 is national hockey, nothing more.. maybe we should go like every other country too, run channels by adverting or something like that, like sub etc works.

why? :( i don't like the idea that goverment takes the money from us how ever they like, i don't like that i have to pay for something i don't even use, why it makes me an idiot? because i don't follow the mass? altho i think most of people feels yle should be burned.
