Resolution problem?

hello,

i try to play ET in 1280x1024 mode, and it works.
But if i switch to fullscreen it stretches to wide screen.... (i have a 22" widescreen)
i just want this black bars on the side and play on 1280x1024.
anyone?

doenst work...
i installed ET with ultimate installer and when it asked what resolution i wanted to play in
i filled in 1280 x 1024

but then would windows also be with black bars, and i should have bought another screen

no,dont think so.. you would just have to set it up every time..
..do you have nvidia? it have some kind of "profiles" which you can use e.g for games..

you need to go into nvidia driver options and change it from "use my displays built in scaling" too use "fixed aspect ratio" thats how to get the black bars down the sides when using lower resolutions.
