itouch new and the previous one

Hi guys, my dad will buy me a 32GB Itouch tomorrow but what's the difference between the itouch that was released in september and the previous one, if you just look at it at the box etc? I want to be sure that the seller doesn't fuck us up... I can't find a specific product number or code or whatever at the apple site..

The shape is the only physical difference (except for volume control on the side of the new gen models).

Features wise, there is an external speaker, 32GB & upwards have voice compatibility (you'll get a handsfree-like earphone set with yours). Bluetooth is also on new versions.

Can't really think of anything else, tbh.

I had a 1st gen iPod Touch and now have the latest gen (I think it's 3rd gen).

Well, idk which gen we're on now? :D Is it 3rd? My little cousin has (what I thought was) as 2nd gen iPod Touch, and no bluetooth on that.

na the 2nd gen had a unused bluetoothchip ... Apple unblocked the function with OS 3.0+

Yeah. The voice is only available in the 32GB versions & higher.

There has been a 32GB version for quite a while... They added the 64GB version in september(and removed the 16GB). Not sure if they updated the 32GB version.

The newer are faster and better for gaming. So be sure 2 get the newest. Got no clue how to know, but gl!!!
