New windows on USB

Hi does anyone got a way how to install a new OS by using a USB. The thing is that I don't have any dics so was thinking if this is possible?

Please help me out lads :<

I know this from the IBM, they are doing this with linux.
You can insert that stick in any random computer and you have all your data and progs.
