Microsoft are selling windows 7 (both home premium and professional) for £30 to UK students.

Also selling Office Ultimate 2007 for £38.95

we also had msdn in our highschool and i got all windows products for free with a lifetime licence

well, we had to request the keys at IT room, was kinda booring, but since yesterday we can just login into msdnaa using uni account and download/get the key :D thats kinda nice

i registered at this ieee.org.. its also for students but even tough i´m not a student (and at school i put my real school) i got an account.

so i have all microsoft programs for free with lifetime license (except office.. but openoffice is better anyway)

it has the same layout like office 2003 had? In my opinion the layout of office 2007 sucks rly hard :x.. propably cause i learned & got used to office 2003 and now openoffice.

I mean the functionality to layout your document. Just try to make a thesis in openoffice and compare it to the ease in Word. For most if not all other stuff, openoffice is just as good if not better than MS office.

new office = genuine authentication = sux

still using office 2000, works like a charm. plz tell me one good reason why i would want to upgrade (and no fuck off with your new toolbar or at least give me an option to use the old GUI)
