just a question:

why do you allowed busted cheaters to play on ESL?

for example:

because the esl et scene is kinda dead imo and most of the admins do not even know the common esl rules, therefore they can't follow them... :<

i prefer esl admins over cb admins.
you just have to know who to pm!
anyways, i guess esl can't know about every single random (like the guy above) who got busted, informing them instead of making useless journals might help!

i was just thinking about the esl admins in generals, i've played DotA very active, so i had many protests things etc. aswell and thought i know how they work, but comparing the esl admins to e.g. a game which is played kinda active like cs, dota, etc. you really notice that they don't put that much efford in the game like in others :< accordingly you see it if they
don't know some rules etc... but it's okay...

never had problems with cb admins though :)

trying to contact them for days already :D

But your probably right about some admins, though atleast we have a protest system. in CB you always have to wait on supervisors to be on irc and thats not a proper way to handle a complain imo^^

to me esl admins always were those who acted "sensible". cb giving forfeit in a GRAND FINAL (SummerCup) says enough, just fucking retarded. cb is acting too strict, too much focusing on their policy. giving forfeit instantly when a game is played 1 day too late. esl however tried to make sure that there are as few forfeits as somehow possible (well, most esl-admins atleast) and more like tried to encourage the teams to play their game asap even by giving a reason (like summer cup ending -> fall cup starting).
furthermore i never found it that easy to talk to a cb admin over irc if i had a problem, in esl i always could pm wonder or eim and instantly received support. the way cb is handling conflicts seems kinda weird to me too, seems like they are never-ending.

Lets change the question, is he busted or just banned?

If he's busted, and busting includes server log \ PBBANS \ GV and the proof itself, unless you got it, he's not busted.
But incase you do, he should be banned from ESL as well.

But if he's just banned from cb for no specific reason (or reason which doesnt count as cheaters cought) (And killerboy does it sometimes - example for that is gnajda's 10 years ban), he shouldnt be banned at all.

Or why EDiT guys, lio via & co, which used wallhack and stuff (= 6 monthes ban) were banned for one year?

Clanbase's bans aren't always right.

Well I've never followed his case, but I don't think that spoofing guid means 10 years ban does it?

Anyway, I'm not gnajda himself or cb admin so I cannot really answer that, I can only say what I see.
Can you explane why EDiT guys were banned for one year?
When aimbot \ wallhack 'punishment' is only 6 monthes?

I guess the reason of gnajdas 10 year ban is that he has been busted many times. And thats a fair ban imo.
About EDiT players 1,5 year ban it should of been.

But thats just me.

don't know hy gnajda has 10 years ban, but edit guys deserved 1 year, cuz ppl who cheats in public server got 6 months, who cheats in war/clanbase match got 1 year, this is what i've read
