hey. my friend wants to buy new hard drive and he is determinating to buy external hard drives 500gb. and here is my question: will he has new etpro guid when he installsl et on this new disc or no? so if he'll have 2 installed ET on his comp (1st. old disc, 2nd. usb disc) he will have 2 etpro guids?

Who gives a fuck about etpro guids, just keep the etkey and reinstall however many times you want.

save etkey and then copy it in ur etmain folder.

You do not install your programs on an external hard drive unless you want a slow computer. Tell him to get an internal Samsung SpinPoint F3 500GB

if he keeps his internal drive in = probably not
otherwise yes

etpro cycles through PhysicalDevice0...x and the first physical device which is a hard drive is used to make etproguid from serial. The new drive will probably be a greater number than the internal so the internal will still be used.
