x-fi gamer is pointless, since x-fi music contains exactly the same things + many more and it only costs like 5 euros more. but anyways, it isn't the best card by far.
well i have heard that razer barracuda headset + soundcard is strong combo, but i would rather go for some X-Fi soundcard (depends on how much u want to invest into that) + some sennheisers, when i installed my Creative Titanium X-Fi 2 months ago i almost started to cry how incredible the sound was with my Icemat Siberia headset, so clear and fruity... My recommendation would be (if u dont rly mind the price) Auzen X-Fi HomeTheater HD + Sennheiser HD595, if u want smth cheaper just go for Creative Titanium X-Fi with Sennheiser HD555
e sennheiser 161 + creativ x-fi auio/gamer should be enough for gaming imo else just get the newest from each and rub one out
either they update them or the cards will fail
