Don't like it. It's very shallow and the different sounds are not pitched into the same key, which is sort of the first thing you do when you start to bring in new sounds to a song "pitch them correctly so they don't sound off-key with the other sounds in the song"
usually you can expect the next 8 beats in a song....but sometimes you start this part and after 3 beats you change to the other direction again and thats what it makes sound weird
let me give you an example...there is a wave in the ocean...you follow the wave with your eyes.....suddenly it just stops moving and turns left...
try to make them more harmonic...listen to some trance songs of pros and try to cover them at first...later you can make ur own songs ;)
i dont know if i get it. u mean its too monotnic ? ill try to use some filters or sth and more oscillators after some time to make sound harder .. but i really dont get it :)
it sounds like a song of 90th. Try to use many components, different effects on this song and bring it to the standard level of the modern trance songs.
For example ur melody remind me a little of the Moonbeam style, just listen to his songs and try to find and add the same details. Make something special!
