seriously need help

PANIC IN THE STEETS... etpro wont work

"Client/Server game mismatch: 'Enemy Territory/ET pro"
is what i get when i vid_restart. I can connect to a server, but when i change one bitty bit its over!


Things i tried (and failed):
  • Reinstall
  • extract .dlls out of latest etpro.rar
  • cvar_reset
  • non-pb server
  • raged



inb4 google aint helping me no more :(

when reinsatlled, you deleted the folder Enemy Territory? if not, do it, make a fresh installation

are you SURE that you don´t have any autoexec what loads when vid_restarted? And are you really running xp...?

the weird thing is that it has worked before here, and i changed anything. Im running unsupported drivers and it causes to bsod sometimes but idk

I lost my nerves and made a dual-boot with XP, everything is good now :)
