soundcard recommendations plz

Good evening Kreuzfeuer,

I m about to buy a new soundsystem pretty soon. I plan to buy the Logitech Z5500 and now i wanna upgrade my pc with a soundcard first.
I dont really have a clue about whats good and what isnt so im asking you hardware pros about some good recommendations.
Basically i want to have decent sound in music, movies and games, i want to plug in a headset and a surround sound (5.1) system and it should have a good and easy controlability.

Also tell me if you ve made some bad experiences with some card please :)
