some sad movie (raffle)

Hi.
To be honest, it feels kinda awkward to write something like this but i need to write my feelings down. I´m talking about a famous movie, which has a sified story and there are lots of things going around in this movie which dont seem real, but still in some way they feel like they were. I´m talking about a movie, which seemed to be so satisfying for its viewers and that well, that it even got a sequel produced, which also made impression for most of the people.
The story simply evolves about two gangs fighting each other for centuries, milleniums and even more time. Now if you think back, there are a lots of movies, where gangs fight each other, mostly to win or loss, life or death. Still this movie got something special inside the story what lifts it from the usual gang-fighting-pool, you see on tv in sorts of series or films. I mean the fact, that it´s about machines! Machines, right!
Some of you may guess now of what movie I´m talking about but for the others I´ll just write it down here:
TRANSFORMERS
So what is this topic actually about?
I´ve seen Transformer the children-tv-series as a kid, never rly much liking it and also i have seen the first movie half-hearted on joox some years ago, it didn´t rly touch me or anything.
Today I was watching it on an austrian channel, ORF1 and then the scales fell from my eyes: This is in fact a movie about life-forms, who spend their entire time on a planet called "cybertron" and never really had much of problems, which would differ from humanity´s. They were living in war and in peacetimes together until suddenly one of them, a certain machine named "megatron" decided to blow apart the planet and hunt down all remaining brothers, who would stand up against him or at least not joining his combative forces.
You already can see the sad story evolving around the poor creatures called "autobots" which were these so called enemies of "megatron". Abandoned from their homes, hunted, slayed, robbed of their homeplanet cruising trough the galaxy for ages.
Now we all know the story of the movies and i dont want to mention everything but there were some things which really made me sad panda when watching them.
As said, i´ve watched the first part tonight and afterwards I was so fascinated that i had to download the second one.
In that film some rly shit happens, "Optimus Prime", the leader of the autobots, who is the last descendant of the "primes", a machine-life-form who would stand up for humanity, long forgotten, dies protecting the human Sam. Anyone who watched that movie should have felt the same way i did - it´s just NOT FAIR!
Exploring the globus for artefacts and explanations for the topics regarding the second movie, Sam finds a rly old "Decepticon", decepticons are the fighters of "megatron", which changed sides a long time ago, now oxiding in some museum, robbed of his former powers, now even having to use a walking stick - geez, this is just sad - At the end he sacrifices his life and rips out his own, bloody heart just to give it to optimus prime, who now gets resurrected to life by his descendants powers and technic. For obvious reasons he also dies for the sake of mankind, just like "Jazz" did in the first movie, ripped apart in two by megatron himself.
Now, when i watched this masterpiece of art i felt like i was going to cry just like titanic, only that it is a movie for boys.
i really recommend from the inner bottom of my heart, watch these movies, they are so great and now GIVE ME MY HONKEY FFS!
