mw2 install?

im trying to install the game but when give the command to install, steam starts to download mw2 install via steam, while i got the 2 cds right here.

It'll be installing Steam's version of .exe so it can work with VAC.

`no, i got the cd's etc. but when i tell my game to install, it starts downloading mw2 via steam.

i just played mp.
I enjoyed it actually, you can set up a private server but didnt test pings, weapons etc.

do not know. As far as I know u can start private server and play competitive, but I dont know about offline, dont think so as they use steam.
