mw2 singleplayer

Been playing the SP last night for a couple hours and I have to say that I don't enjoy it as much as the SP of modern warfare 1.

The missions are sort of too random. You don't feel like you are playing a story at all.

Seems the quality of new games are dropping with each anticipated release.

I quite enjoy the constant mission hopping, following the story of different people. I do think the game seems harder than the previous. I seem to get killed more!

The plot is a mess lol.

I finished the game in 1 night (5 hours) and the story is really disappointing. I mean, you can't follow the constant switching and the loading screen videos really don't help at all. CoD4 was more "new" and breathtaking, while this was more of the same, and a random combination of spectacular missions. Although those missions were still fun to play!

On Hardened, so that's like the "tough guy" setting. You can only go one up and play "extreme" or whatever that's called, but I think then you die too much and the game isn't so fun anymore. Although that would still only take me 7 hours or so :P

yeah extreme = getting shot by ppl who u can't even see + mega nade spam in cod :p but it's doable when u know what to do :p

Well ye, but imo the hardest part would be the favela mission, where you have to run through a maze of slums in Brazil packed with bad guys behind corners, on roofs, behind a small dooropening and so on. I died the most in that mission I think, because you kind of need an aimbot to spot the enemies fast enough and kill them before they fire a shitload of bullets on your ass. In Extreme mode I suppose this will be a "go back to start" ritual over and over again.

When you first go up to the level, as they come from everywhere. Everytime I went to thermo scope someone would always come from out side my Field of view. So in the end I laid claymores to cover my flanks :)

Took me about 6 on hardened. I quite enjoyed the plot (mainly 'cus of the reunion towards the end :D) General Shephard had me shouting bastard at my TV haha.

Am disappointed that it wasn't a bit longer, but all in all I thought it was good! There were some pretty epic moments in there, but some were stupidly skipped over (like seeing Air Force 1 etc)
