Fortunately the driver emerged from the three-foot deep pool with only his dignity and bank balance hurt. He has stated that he was not actually talking on his phone at the time.

There are only 15 Bugatti Veyrons in the United States and the man had reportedly only bought it last month (October 2009) from a dealer for $1.25m . It's not a total loss for the hapless owner though, because according to reports he's already become popular among celebrities as a result of the crash - claiming that Arnold Schwarzenegger called him when he heard the news.

Actually he can't. It's not like you go to a bugatti dealership and get one of those. They are pretty damn rare and I think they have been sold out long before they actually hit the market.

Jij zegt ''beter lezen'' Dat zeg je waarschijnlijk omdat ik het verkeerd heb gezien dat het er pas 12november op stond. Dus dan zeg ik ''Laat ik het nog is proberen''. Misschien dat ik het deze keer dan wel zie dat het eerder was dan 12november.

Ik zei alleen 'beter lezen'. Jij gaat er van uit dat dit gericht is op de autoblog link, maar dat hoeft niet zo te zijn. Het kan best oud zijn, aangezien oud op verschillende manieren geïnterpreteerd kan worden. Tevens gebruik je twee keer 'is', waar dat 'eens' had moeten zijn.

The car would've been damaged way more if it hit the water with 220 km/h, since it's supposed to lower the rear spoiler under 220 km/h?

actualy it seems that it can deploy to act like a braking device (like the flaps you have on nascar car's roof) :D
