mp4 player help

Hey! I have problems with my mp4 player! its ZAP SR100

first 6months or so everything was fine! but after some time my windows started to not recognize it! could it be broken cable or smth?

it had some battery left and I could use it, but couldnt load it or add songs / movies to it.
And now that its battery is dead it won't even start!

So my question is, is ot broken or is it just that the battery is so low that that it can't be turned on? pls if some1 has the same player or any experience of it, help me cuz I rly like it. It has 8GB memory and its rly nice player!

and 1 more thing, if / when I get it to work any1 knows how to lock the buttons? cuz its touchpad and sometimes it changes song / volume when I keep it in my pocket and it's annoying!

man i've looked everywhere and the only thing i found on the net about it is that somebody had a problem where it got stuck on a white screen.
can't even find the homepage of the product or company :S
