Weird PCI problem

I doubt you jolly chaps will be able to help me with this prob, cause its totally random and illogical.

I bought another 1GB ram (have 1x2GB already). It's 100% working and compatible.

BUT if two RAM sticks are in my motherboard my PCI wireless (netgear wg311v3) card doesn't manage to connect to the internet (unable to do anything useful like find networks even) although it's still recognised in device manager. (tried resetting all net stuff etc ofc)

**Edit: I discovered this is a common weird problem with this particular model, 2GB works fine, 4GB works fine, 3GB does not work fine --- what a piece of shit!

you cant have 2GB on one side and 1GB on the other.... it needs to be balanced. Go back and get another 2GB.
or turn of dual channel

Its might work but its dumb and prolly slow. but anyway its not like DDR2 ram is super expensive so why on earth would you waste money on 1GB in the first place xD just get 2 so you have 4 lolololol

It's after jumping back up in price thanks to the Phenom's.

its ok i have 4 slots, so there can be two different sizes

does it show that you have 3gb installed?
yeh tnx. i am reading now this is a model specific gay problem. e.g. "My wg311v3 has been working with 4gb ram on vista x64 for almost 6 months. Unfortunately if I boot with 3gb ram the adapter wont work (don't ask me why). "
