Punkbuster @ Win7

Up until this evening I've had no problems with Punkbuster but this evening I get various issues.

Having various pnkbstr b kicks being the main. I have:
Deleted pb folder then updated with pbsetup
Ran pbsvc.exe then uninstalled and reinstalled and test came back no problems.
Reboot
Turned off firewall and even added exceptions
Made sure they were both in services @ Automatic

They don't seem to exist in /system32 folder, or when they do pnkbstr.b either removes itself, tells me it's not installed as a service so I cannot run it. So I'm going in loops all the time...

I do get this message in pbsvc, which may be related:
Is PnkBstrA explicitly allowed?
C:\Windows\system32\PnkBstrA.exe NO
Is PnkBstrB explicitly allowed?
C:\Windows\system32\PnkBstrB.exe NO

Running Windows 7 x64

im sorry but the only way you can fix this is to buy a fresh copy of windows 7

go to windows/system32

pnkbstrA.exe
pnkbstrB.exe

=> run as administrator and with windows XP SP2 compatibility


go to your wolfenstein folder, and run ET.EXE and ETDED.exe with windows XP SP2 compatibility ONLY!!

Already done that before posting this, as I said, it seems to go in a loop and seems to delete/remove them from system32.

At the moment I can play on certain servers and others are kicking me for various reasons...

but do not try to play on cybergames' servers

Have tried :)

I just /rage and uninstalled windows 7 now! will try again when I know everyone can play punkbuster related games all fine...

install ET on a other drive - worked for me.
had the same symptoms ;)

exactly. i also tought WTF. wasted a lot of time to find a solution and then that simple thing....

only getting kicked on cyber, all others working fine atm.
