i jsut received my samsung 24" widescreen and was wondering why everything seems so bright and unsharp
its really nice in game because its like r_gamma 4 but kinda annoying when it comes to working on it in the night

you should return it. there is no way to change monitor's gamma.
my 22" lg was quite bright when i first used it - was just a wrong setting.
