Angels and demons - Movie wtf?

I just saw the movie to Dan Browns book Angels and demons.

I don't think I ever saw a more shitty movie. Really, the story is totally different - So many missing things that they just changed so they could make a new "story".

Did any of you read the book also as I did because I'll just need to know if you agree with me :S

I'm kinda shocked about it, The Da Vinci Code was kinda perfectly according to the book, and nicely done aswell..

But this one is nice done...but it's totally different from the book, if I had to read the book now I would pretty confused since it seems like its faaar from the same story

Am I right?

hm.. never saw that movie or read the book but usally the most movies after books are somehow shit if u like the book... they have to cut to much and then change something to make it easier.

only movie after book i liked so far is lord of the rings ^^

Wasn't a bad movie...

Just watched eternal sunshine of a spotless mind. Was a great movie. Recommended if you like complex movies (it's a bit like memento).

I actually re-watched it last week after watching it at the cinema when it was released, and my opinion has not changed. It is a well made, and far more enjoyable than the first movie.

It's always that way, because the author of a book only gives the producer of the movie the rights to make a movie about the book, but he is allowed to change certain things.
Been that way with almost every book --> movie scenario there is
