seems fairly pacey though but might need some tweaks
and remove that mg turret :@
but for competitive gaming u can always remove the turrets if they are overbalanced. recon they work rather good in games such as tf2. not talking gigantic turrets a' la etqw this time.
i just dont like AI controlled 'characters' in MP games - they're rarely done well so are either too strong like aimbots or too weak
ironsights dont necessarily slow a game down and i think the 'smart' system helps keep the game pacey. I can imagien a team caught in a crossfire and one of them does some nice jumping and breaks through.
the map shown looked nice too, i liked the objective
i hope they have a limbo menu though and allow class binds, the system they showed looked slow to use and limiting as you had to be at a special point in the map
and in videos themselves
so i'd say brink has got the pace not many games these days seem to have.

i guess it isn't optmised yet but you are right idtech4 failed on smoothness
but i think they'll sort it out
