LOGITECH MOMO Racing Force

anyone got it?
I love racing games but playing them with my 15€ gamepad sucks (u only have full steering left or full steering right. both with full speed.. same for gas and break..there is no way to give sensible gas or to steer sensible left/right). but i think this happens with all gamepads? :x

However, i wanna buy a steering wheel. Dont need gas & break pedals that much but they are still nice and included in every steering wheel so np. Also i love these 2 "buttons" on the backside of the steering wheel. mostly used to change gears. The logitech momo racing force also comes with a gearknob. but is it any good? :x

if anyone has it tell me please :)
if anyone got some other steering wheel and u can recommend it tell it too ;)
I get the logitech momo for 65€ and can buy it tomorrow which would be nice (4 days free, beamer + stero + subwoofer + steering wheel + pedeals + dirt2 <3).

ahh okay

hmm know how to solve this here at home :P
guess i will get it then. there was a cheaper one (36€) but without gearknob.. and i dont really know if the gearknob is anygood. But i just read some review and it says the 250€ (lol) are worth it :)

hm i got some hama-ps2-like gamepad.. but i wonder how u can steer sensible? u only have a button which u can push = do it or dont push it = dont do it.. if u push he will steer.. with maxium speed ?

or does it really has "the harder u press, the harder it steers" ?

lfs = live for speed

und man kann mit den schultertasten gas und bremse gut dosieren :)

ah okay.. naja geht mir hauptsächlich ums lenken. aber ich denk ich kauf mir einfach ein lenkrad.. blos weis ich noch nicht ob ich die 65€ version mit schalthebel oder die 35€ version nehmen soll :S

hmm okay.. kostet aber um 20€ mehr als das logitech momo lenkrag

du weist nicht zufällig obs da wirkliche unterschiede zwischen den beiden gibt? :D

@edit: das driving force kann man 900grad drehen.. naja bauch ich eigtl. nicht umbedingt. da wärs interessanter zu wissen welcher schalthebel besser ist von den beiden :)

If you really have money to burn the Logitech g25 is supposed to be really good, with paddle shifting, gear stick(can be set sequentially too), and pedals (clutch, brake, and accelerator). It probably costs at least €130. Otherwise an xbox360 pad or something similar that lets you control throttle, braking, and steering would do the job for most games, but with simulators like rFactor, perhaps not. I've got no idea about the steering wheel you mentioned though.

ye the g25 seems to be awesome.. but thats too much money :(
i started with 40-50€ for a steering wheel. now i´m already at 65€ :P
Its not the money which is the problem but the amount of time i will use it (which isnt worth to pay so much money)

the only change compared to the dfp is the 900degree turning ability. But it also costs 20€ more. and for another 20€ i could already get the g25 :P (fucking awesome)

So i will take the momo one.. if its not enough and i want smth more realistic i will maybe buy the g25 if i can sell the momo one :)
