Just changed my case, was bored of other, from this

The last one people will be thinking WTF, that case is like ugly and the first 1 is better... BUT you don't know how much room is in the 2nd. litteraly it has only just fit under my desk, it must be like 70cm high.

RARE RARE CASE, I picked it up for £20 from local computer shop. Seen it in window I was like woa!!! I thought, yeah man I can carry that home NP4ME, I was wrong. Walked about quarter of a mile, and thought fuck this, called my GF lol.

Apparently it's a legit Chieftec Dragon SERVER case dated early 2000's late 90's, there is a lot of look alikes but this is legit (had guy check). Apparently the listing will go for around £300-£400, even includes the old old fans.

lol nah, she has a car LOL. I'm like Mr no driver, apparently I'm worse than a woman, I was gone for 10mins, and I bought the case, new RAM, trainers and a new TV :D.

Luckily I didn't have to carry the TV also lol.

lol, u'll get tired of it. I had fulltower 3-4years ago and it's completely useless unless u want to fit watercooling in there. I asume u took out lower HDD rack to fit thous 4870X2 ? Now i have CH-01B-B-SL- tool-free case.

Chieftec dragon are strong cases and very heavy :D, just oudated. Because they dont have the depth like most new cases have now. So not that effiecient with space. Just look all the space you got above your psu, pretty useless. Any big stacker, is more usefull. They arent that big but you can place everything in there. If i needed a home server i would pick CM 690, because its not big. Has good cooling + dust filters. And you can also fit loads of hdds in it.

This is mine, its smaller in height but more depth as you can see and thats useful

I see know your specs. Pretty useless such a big case for such a small amount of hardware. Dont you have problems with the lenght of the 4870X2? I dont like 80mm fans myself for that hardware, its too loud.

Infact I did have a big problem with my Kandalf case, I managed to just fit the card in, the 6 pin power wasn't going in for anything! Had to do some cutting and did some more cutting behind the mobo for cable management which helped a lot since the leads litteraly had to go across my heatsink.

The Chieftec is perfect though at first it didn't want to go in but the HDD cages are removable so I removed the bottom 1 and now both go in so nice :D.

I'll get some picture when I get my new Samsung 720p camera :D.

Yeah I know man, I have got watercooling parts I just need some tubing and 3/8 barbs.

RAD is a coolermaster I think... not too sure, been awhile since I seen the kit lol.
