QUAKE LIVE HELP

My friend is getting this error on quake live running firefox on vista

"net_strict enabled: couldn't allocate localhost:27960"
He doesnt have a firewall running.






He has tried running qlive on IE but his IE browsers fucked up.

No idea, but make sure you run your browser as an administrator or PB keeps kicking you ;D
(at least that happened to me when i had to use vista)

I think problem is that he can not allocate the localhost.

QuoteProbably you have Server(Q3) running on your port 27960 (its standart by default)
Try to run Task Manager(Ctrl+Alt+Del) and go to Processes --> sort by name --> find quake3.exe --> close
