Was won by a guy called Erik Grönwall and was competiting vs another dude called Calle Kristiansson.

They both got to pick one song they wanted. Second song got voted from the people and the final song is the "Idol Winning Song" which both had to sing.

Erik deserved the win, his voice is amazing! Calle was also great but just didnt make it. Was really close tho 1-2 % I think.

well I agree that his voice is somewhat special and some songs are really perfectly fit for his voice, but he's no Kurt Nilsen (just an odd comparison - but the perfect example of a voice that carries, instead of the 'image' of a pop star that carries), so I would be very surprised if he turns out to still be a superstar in the coming years.

Well the boy is still young and havent been into professional singing. I think he is gonna go big and learn loads of stuff. If you compare him to when they started in May he wasnt even close to this level, meaning he is improving fast and learning :) But he definitly has a strong voice.
