Clone harddisk

Ooi

Could anyone recommend me some good software to copy a harddisk partition with windows installed on it to another harddisk without the loss of any information. Basicly I want to clone that partition to another harddisk.

The harddisk im using now is making noises I wouldnt have thought it could make em, doesnt sound right :d Cheers!

I am gonna do the same soon, and my dad said I should use "Macrium Reflect" or something like that. You can decide where to put the "clone" off the HDD ( For example, DVD , other HDD, CD, USB stick etc etc)

Ye, the program is quite nice.. although be sure if you copy it to a DVD ( or in my case, multiple) that ALL the DVD's are working/empty (since if they are not.. it will cancel and you will have to start over, 30GB compress = 30-40 min or so)

And about the HDD.. ye mine is making alot of noise, no ticking though..

You can find it inside Hiren's boot cd. Its awesome.
listen to xedos, Acronis is the best way as it shows exactly howmuch is on what drive so u wont make a mistake cloning wrong partitions.
