You're not shoutcasters and have little to no experience in it, but most importantly you know the guys on the other team pretty well, so it's only logical they wouldn't let you cast.

Personally, I didn't mind. What IS stupid however is giving the server details to people who OBVIOUSLY are not trustworthy, eg, TAZ.

Some sort of certification system is needed where only certified ETTV servers and shoutcasters are able to retrieve the connection-details for a match.

Plus a different way of handing out the connection details to the players.. more than often the connection-details end up in a ventrilo comment for every other idiot on the vent-server to read.
