Hi

I need a new mouse because my razer diamonback died after 5 years. I was pretty happy with it so I want a new razer mouse.


Razer diamondback 3G
Razer proclick v1.6
Razer Copperhead

Anyone has experience with these mice?

Kan je die nog kopen? Er is nu toch alleen die 3G ofzo maar ik wil gewoon 400DPI

copperhead is good for trash. (=skips if you move fast, unless you're highsens it's worthless)

pro click = exactly old diamondback with new name / colours (dunno if they upgraded the sensor to the 3g but i don't think so)

db 3g = a bit higher than the old DB (more like the CH shape) + deathadder sensor. Should be quite good. (maybe there's even a firmware with prediction removal like the DA has)

I'd go for the 3g.

oh and if you're not lowsens you might want to look into the microsoft wmo or ie 1.1a, the size is about the same as the razer you mentioned, the shape is abit different and the sensor has no prediction/correction and they're pretty light. But they only do 400 dpi and skip if you're lowsens. (a bit less if you overclock the usb)

Hi thanks for your help man. I used to play with the razer DB with 400 dpi lowsense. I dont know what you mean with 'skip' is it like some friction or something?

It's when the sensor stops tracking your movement because it can't keep up with the speed. Means that there's no to low movement transmitted ingame.
I thought everybody had read http://www.esreality.com/?a=post&id=1265679 this by now, it's old and a bit outdated but helps a lot about mice.

Oh and I just remembered, the DB 3G does only 1800 dpi without drivers, 800 or 1800 with driver. But you can still use the windows sensitivity @ 4th notch to divide the dpi by 2 so you'll end up with 400 if you set it to 800 with the drivers. (or 3rd notch if you don't want to install the drivers, since it divides the DPI by 3 then)

nah i installed et to watch the eurocup final but then it got cancelled. so i wanted to play a 3o3 but then my mouse died :p i need a new one anyway. then i can pwn again ^^

try Razer Lachesis. DeathAdder is good, also Razer Habu or new Razer Dominator (like G5)
