english applications

yo cfire
i wanna apply to an international project/organisation. for that i need to write an application form in english. actually i can handle the basic things, but i never made any english data sheet & covering letter so i dont know how to express things in formal words(so that it sounds like a real application form ya know....):

-i found several translations of "abitur" like A-Level('s), higher school certificate, or just abitur like in german... what to use? and how to say that i will (probably) get it next year? (like 'examination in june 2010'?)

• Dates (from – to) September 2003 onwards
can i use 'onwards' in this way? (still related to my school time...)

-whats the correct name of the informatics/computer science/... subject in english?

-how to end the cover? i just know the typical form "Best regards,"; is there a more fitting phrase to use?

pls halp D:

e: stop checking my profile without giving help :(

Best ending is 'I will make it worth your while'
general qualification for university entrance
A-Levels is the correct translation for the ABI. Most (bigger) international corperates know about the meaning.
Say you took the german equivalency to A-levels!
what xo said... but say "next summer I will be sitting my A-level exams in blah subject blah"
You should say you are predicted to get such and such grades in abitur, which is the equivalent to A-Levels.
