Need pc Genius

i've had a sound problem for like a year and only just had this message for a few months

basically if i use the back ports i only hear from one side and if i use the front i only hear bullets in et and only hear the beat to a song no words :(

please help !

i'm not too sure all the disk's are at a mates and he's lost em :9 how could i find out without having disks?

run > dxdiag, check sound tabs perhaps? maybe there's some info about the sound card and u can google 4 it

download a free program called Everest, find the motherboard name, write it here and ill give u the audio driver link

Not that hard, just read what is there.
C-media audochip it is...
http://www.cmedia.com.tw/drivers.html
Now you just need to find which one. With everest, or even faster open your pc look for c-media chip on your motherboard/audio card and your done.
Google is your friend.
Else just buy a new cheap audio card for 5euro.
