Just got back from what is probably going to be my last gig of 2009, Casiotone For The Painfully Alone supported by an odd two piece vaguely sounding like The Knife and a nice humble little rock/folk band. Good stuff.
So crossfire, slightly unrelated but what was your favourite live act of 2009?
Feel free to tell me why/why I should give it a listen!

boy.
he's hard to play so he's picked the least
but if you see him in mid you best be scared
for if he's good and he's come prepared
you'll be in for some shit maybe even first blood
if he hooks you in and rots all over your hud
ain't no time to react ain't no time to escape
he'll chase ya down and unleash the rape
what's that in the forest? looks like pudge
think fast son no time for a grudge
he's come steaming down the river for a gank delooxe
bottled dd and throwing in some guttling hooxe
but whats this? he missed!
you still exist,
so you chase him down, unleash the smack
juking in the forest as he tries to run back
he's been done son, nowhere to hide
you await your gold and XP when the chat says HE'S BEEN DENIED!
Can't kill my, can't kill my, no he can't kill my rotting pudge
(He's hooked me like nobody)

WORST VENT EVER.
Meez we're having a giggle delooxe on vent. Where are you?
watch that video! its the most random, yet funniest video ever lol.
and they used the best track by casiotone tbh
they are only pearls(L)
how was the gig?
and my fav act must have been in flames. or escape the fate LOL never saw so many 12yr old emo's with parents at a concert
he was really awesome, taking requests throughout his whole set, used the audience to get the sound right (something i wish we saw more of), and generally decent guy. refused to sing love connection but said if anyone from the audience wanted to then he would perform it while they sang. a bit later on some dude had a go at it and it turned out pretty good :P
Only "big" gig I was at this year was AC/DC at Punchestown near Dublin back in June. I usually just go and see local bands play and enjoy some good music.
