need new tv series please!

heroes (all)
lost (season 1 & 2, got bored in 3)
house (all)
sopranos (1-4, got bored in 5)
dexter (all)

want a real tv show, as much as i love south park, family guy etc. not what i'm looking for!

First 2 episodes are overwhelming, then it sucks you in.

The thing is, it's regarded by almost every respectable TV critic as the greatest TV show of all time - that's got to make it worth watching?

i've seen the ratings, i watched the first few episodes a year or so ago but wasn't to fond of it, thinking of trying it again though

I watched the first 2/3 episodes then stopped. Then went back to it a fortnight or so later, no regrets.

The only bad thing is that every other series is shit once you've finished watching The Wire.

I started from season 4 which doesnt have strong connection with the one before [new hero etc] and it was rly awesome then after i finished i started again from season 1 and rly nice but still season 4 was the best and btw i dont recommand you to watch season 3 cuz that one was seriously boring.

if I remember correctly season 3 is the one when he is on the boat, and it was absolutly boring I dont give a fuck what you or anybody else for that matter says.
and I started to watch from season 4 because it was the only season on VOD that time and i was too lazy back then to start downloading it from the beggining.
and stop talking like an asshole.

You do realise that one of the key reasons why the series itself is so successful is that there is no protagonist! There is no 'hero', as you so retardedly put it.

If you find the series boring, then fair enough, I guess you don't really appreciate it. But to say you find S3 boring because 'he is on the boat' ... what the hell is wrong with you? Dropped on your head?

well im talking ofc about mcnulty which is a leading character in the series.
and im not 100% postive if its the 2nd or the 3rd season which he was staitioned on a boat but thats what i remember from that season cuz after a couple of episodes i just couldnt stand it.
and the fact that there is no protagonist is certanly not one of the key reasons why its successful I can count meny series like it that didnt have a hero and failed miserably..
