Fede Alvarez recorded 5 minutes of a movie for 300 dollars, Hollywood has given him a contract for 30 millions of dollars.

A science-fiction clip under the title „Ataque de Panico!” gains vast popularity. And there's nothing odd about it, the movie is truly exceptional. Watch it for yourself.

It's easy to make a $300 movie clip when you already own the necessary equipment & software, get people to work for free, and don't pay for the soundtrack you use. ^^

It took U$s300 to shoot the live action, and then maybe a year to complete the 90 vfx shots (during very interrupted periods...)

I used Premiere, After, Photoshop, 3dMax, Boujou, Glu3d and FumeFx.

The modeling, mapping and rigging of the Robots, fighters and planes was made by Mauro Rondan. ([email protected])

did someone die while casting this short movie? :s I mean these building were like fucked up pretty heavy and the parts were flying around.. and these machines, they were realistic man.. can't imagine how they pulled these heavy machines, wow.
