help me out pl0x

hey guys i had to set up karaoke thingy for my family for today...well i got all the stuff micraphone,speakers and so on.And now when i turn the volume high the speaker starts making high pitched noises when the micraphone is plugged in ,any ideas how to sort it out?

the karaoke thingy is pissin me off :D i can play it on very low volume only,coz if i turn the volume up the micraphone or w/e starts making high pitched noises...annoying
