[18:40] Dezire: i found out why my pc isnt recognizing my new cpu
[18:41] Panda: why?
[18:41] Dezire: i just got the package
[18:41] Dezire: were i put the old CPU in
[18:41] Dezire: cuz i just formatted and it still didnt work
[18:41] Dezire: so i thought what could be the last option
[18:41] Dezire: so i grabbed the package
[18:41] Dezire: took the chip
[18:41] Dezire: cleaned it
[18:41] Dezire : and looked wich name was on it
[18:41] Dezire : guess 3 times
[18:42] Panda: LOL you had the old chip @ new mobo? :D
[18:42] Dezire: I HAVE
[18:42] Dezire: I STILL HAVE
[18:42] Dezire: i tried to put the new one in
[18:42] Dezire: but my pc didnt want to boot anymore
[18:42] Dezire: prolly cuz all the thermic layer of it is gone
[18:42] Dezire: fucking awesome

i bought new mobo + cpu, tried tpo install it all by my own, failed loads so i tried it with my old cpu chip again, didnt work either but i forgot to change the chip, i figured that out now, but for that i removed the thermic layer on the new chip and now that one doesnt work anymore. or so...

just buy some thermal paste and reapply

it should still boot without it but it'll die pretty quickly with the temperatures it's gonna reach
