edit: cos i just logged into xfire for the first time in a while and noticed a lot of ppl still use it zlol. and i was using it 3years ago. I prefer IRC, winz.

you're kinda right. both could get you to talk with someone while he was in-game. but the difference (and the thing that i was using xfire at all) was that ability to join your friend on the server :)

IRC is a communication protocol, mIRC is an IRC client.

You can't compare one with the other. IRC client =/= IM client (xfire is basically MSN messenger)

Xfire is such a rubbish, drains my fps in any game. Guess it's not supported for weak toasters.

you cant compare them, i use them both. Have xfire integrated in pidgin tho, because i dont like the progam itself.

if i want to connect to my favorite server, i just creat an icon aiming to ET.exe and i add +connect ip:port =)

"C:\Program Files\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\ET.exe" +connect 213.108.31.35:27010

this is for Bio server, and i rename le link : BIO
